This vine variety has been raised in the Upper Tiber Valley since 1800.
Full flavour, round and fresh with a touch of black fruit and spices.
The maceration on skins lasts 10 days, then it lays in steel containers during the spring and later in Slavonian oak barrels for at least one year.
It completes its maturation in bottle for 8 months.
Good with meat, salami, cheese, strong sauce and game dishes.
